Creating a skill
You create skills via the skills management (management > skills management). Click + New skill there. Give the skill a clear name and abbreviation. These will later be visible in the skills matrix – the overview of obtained and missing skills. Also add a short description explaining what the skill stands for. For example:  event. Taking action from the skills matrix The skills matrix isn't just for viewing: you can also act directly from it. Do you see that employees are missing a skill or certificate? Then you select them in the matrix and take action all at once. You have three options: enrolling users in a catalog item, notifying them of a catalog item, or sending them a personal message.
