Reading the Skills matrix
Viewing skills with the skills matrix
The skills matrix (via Management > Skills matrix) shows at a glance which employees have which skills – and which ones they are still missing.
Please note: the skills matrix displays skills and certificates across the entire organization. Want to see progress within one specific learning path? Then use the learning path matrix.
Skills are shown in the matrix with their abbreviation. Hover your mouse over an abbreviation to see the full name.
The colored dots indicate the status of a skill for each employee:
- Green with checkmark: the user has obtained all the required certificates for this skill.
- Yellow with checkmark: all required certificates have been obtained, but one or more of them will expire soon.
- Pie slice: the user has obtained some of the required certificates, but not all of them yet.
- Gray with dark outline: the user has not yet obtained any of the required certificates.
- Gray without outline: this skill is not assigned to the user.

Viewing details
- Click on a dot to see the details of that skill: the required and obtained certificates and their expiration date.
- Click on a skill's abbreviation to see which certificates (the pink columns) fall under that skill and which ones have or have not been obtained or are about to expire. This is also where you can directly issue a certificate.

Searching and filtering
Use the search bar to find a specific user.
With the filters you can quickly make a selection of exactly the results you want to see. You can filter by:
- Skills profiles: choose one or more user groups. The matrix then displays only the skills that are required within that group (or those groups).
- Skills: choose one or more skills
