Create reports

With Reports, you can quickly create a useful report that provides a clear overview of your learning journeys and course modules at a glance.

To create a report, go to the management section and click on reports. The reporting tool is divided into three tabs: portfolio*, learning journeys, and course modules.

*The portfolio tab is only available with the Team subscription.

Portfolio

Under the portfolio tab, you get a clear overview of obtained certificates and the points earned. You can also immediately see (marked in red) if a certificate has expired.

You can filter the results based on the date of acquisition and the validity of the portfolio item.

Click on a user to open a detail screen for the respective portfolio item. From this detail screen, you can click on the briefcase icon to directly open the user’s portfolio.

Learning journey report

Under the 'learning journeys' tab in the reports, you will find a useful overview of the progress and scores of all participants across all learning journeys in your academy.

This can become a long list if you have multiple learning journeys in your academy. That's why you might want to search, sort, or filter!

Searching and filtering

The search and filter option can help you quickly retrieve the correct data.

Search: this is useful if, for example, you quickly want to see which learning journey(s) a specific participant has been added to and what their progress and score are.

Filter: do you want to limit the number of results in the overview? Use the filter function. For instance, you can specify that you only want to see the results of one or more specific learning journeys. Or set '100' for minimum progress, so that you only see participants who have fully completed a learning journey. Combinations of filters are also possible.

How are scores determined?

In the learning journey report overview, you will also see a 'score' column. The score you see here is based on the achieved scores for course modules and assignment modules in the learning journey. The weighting of the course modules or assignment modules is also taken into account. You set the weighting when you added the course module/assignment module to the learning journey. A course module with a weighting of '2' will thus have twice the influence on the score as a course module with a weighting of '1'.

Would you like to know exactly how far a participant has progressed in your learning journey? Simply click on the participant's name. You’ll immediately see what they’ve already completed in the learning journey!

Exporting results

Next to the filter button, you will find an export button. The results from your report will be sent to you in an Excel file via email. Note: the filter you set determines what you will see in the export. You will receive the export in your email.

Course module report

Under the 'course modules' tab in the reports, you can see the scores and progress of all participants across all course modules in your academy. Here too, you can search, sort, and filter.

Click on a user's name to open the user overview. You can then see exactly the progress of the course module for this person, and you can also go to their portfolio and profile.
Click on the name of a course module to open the course module as the participant went through it. You can now see in detail when a learner viewed each part and see the answers given for all assignments.

Exporting results

Next to the filter button, you will find an export button. The results from your report will be sent to you in an Excel file via email. Note: the filter you set determines what you will see in the export. You will receive the export in your email.

Adding custom categories to your report

When you export a report, you will naturally find the standard columns with information, such as the user's name, progress in a course module, and time spent. But you can also view other user data based on categories that you have created yourself.

For example: in the export, you will also find a 'organisation' column, so you can see exactly which organisation each user belongs to.

Want to know how to create custom categories, so you can see them in the export? Read this article.

What does the reset button do in the course modules page?

You may have noticed that there are reset buttons in the course module reports when you select one or more users. You can use this to reset a participant's progress on a specific course module.

Note: resetting progress means that participants will have to complete the entire course module(s) again. Any entered answers will be lost. Only do this if you are certain!
