Setting skill requirements per group
Setting skill requirements per group
For each group, you can set how many participants must master a particular skill at minimum. In the skills matrix you then see at a glance how the group is doing. If a group drops below the set threshold, you receive a notification about it.
When do you use this?
Use this setting when a group has to meet a minimum level, for example "at least 25 store employees must master Runningexpert". This lets you monitor the compliance of an entire group instead of per individual participant.
Step 1 — Set the minimum skill requirement
Open the group and go to the General tab. Expand the Skills section. Here you see all skills linked to the group.

For each skill you can set a minimum:
- Min (number of participants): the minimum number of participants who must master the skill (25% for Runningexpert in the example).
- Min (%): the minimum percentage of progress.
Via Add skill you add a new skill to the profile. Via the three-dots menu (⋮) on the right you can edit a skill or remove it again.
Under Skills per group you see how the group is doing per skill, for example 0% of the required 25% participants, 100% progress. A red exclamation mark on the tab indicates that the group does not yet meet all requirements.
Click To skills matrix at the top right to open the full matrix overview.

Step 2 — Read the skills matrix
In the skills matrix you see all participants of the group listed below each other, with a status icon for each skill. At the top you can search by participant or filter via Filter. The active filters (such as the skill profile and the group) are shown as labels below the search bar.

The icons mean the following:
- ✅ Green checkmark — the participant fully masters the skill.
- ❌ Red cross — the participant does not (yet) meet the skill.
- 🌓 Partially filled circle — the skill is partially obtained; the fill indicates the progress.
At the bottom you see the total number of participants in the group (Total 6 users in the example).
Notifications when dropping below the threshold
As soon as a group drops below the set threshold — for example because a certificate expires or a participant leaves — you automatically receive a notification about it. This way you immediately see when action is needed to bring the group back up to the minimum requirements.
