AFAS GetConnector: User Sync (manual)

Configuring the GetConnector

GetConnector Configuration

Navigate to the General menu in the Output section and select Administration, then click on GetConnector. You will see the screen below. Open the GetConnector used for course participants within your organization. In our example, it is _Profit_Users_. As illustrated below, it's possible to filter by name to ease finding the GetConnector.

Upon opening, a new screen appears. Click Next, followed by Data, leading you to the subsequent screen.

GetConnector Configuration Data

Here, you can configure the fields of the GetConnector. The left panel contains all available fields, while the right panel displays fields linked to the GetConnector.

Key Fields:

The presence of the following fields is essential for proper functionality:

  • Employee Code
  • Full Name
  • Primary email field
  • Secondary email field (optional)

Using primary and secondary fields allows different email fields for various user groups. (For example, _Email_Private_ for _Individuals_ while _Individuals within an Organization_ may have an additional _Email_Work_ field). Pluvo checks the _primary email field_ first and resorts to the _secondary email field_ only if the primary field is empty. If your organization uses only one email field, there's no need to configure a _secondary email field_.

Adding the 'Employee Code' Field

Locate the Employee Code field in User -> General -> Person -> Links -> 'Employee'. Within the Employee folder, there is another 'Employee' folder; add this.
