Integrating course modules with LTI 1.1.
LTI, or Learning Tool Interoperability, is a widely used and straightforward way to link instructional materials to other systems. It enables various educational tools and platforms to work together. In this helpdesk article, we explain how to link an external module to your learning journey in Pluvo using LTI 1.1 and how to integrate a Pluvo course module into another platform.

How do you link an external module to your learning journey? We'll explain it step by step.
1. Go to your learning journey and click on 'add module'.
2. Click on 'more modules'.
3. Select LTI Module.
4. You can fill in the necessary data, retrieved from the other platform, under the tab 'LTI 1.1 data'.
Can't find this information? Check with the other learning system.
5. Save the information. You will now find the LTI module in your learning journey. Don't forget to test the connection.
Good to know: you can also base conditions within the learning journey on completing an LTI module.
It is also possible to integrate your course module created in Pluvo into another LMS using LTI 1.1. Always check which versions of LTI the other platform supports. Does the platform also support LTI 1.3? Then we recommend using this newer standard. Check out this article.
To integrate your course module using LTI 1.1 into the other platform, you need a launch URL, LTI key, and LTI secret. To find this information, do the following:
1. Go to the 'course modules' page via the management.
2. Click on the course module you want to integrate.
3. Click on the settings tab in the window that slides out.
4. Click on LTI 1.1 to find the required information.
This information needs to be added to the other platform to complete the connection.
Is your course module linked via an LTI connection in another learning system? Or an external module in Pluvo? In both cases, you can still view the progress of your (external) users in Pluvo.
Through the management of Pluvo, open the reports tab. Then make sure you open the course modules tab within the report page. You can now see the progress and answers in the reports, just as you are used to with course modules in Pluvo itself!
Want to reset a participant's progress? Check the box next to their name and click the reset button at the top.

Resetting progress
