Add a point system to your academy

Has someone completed your e-learning? Then you'll naturally want to award a certificate! You can also assign points to the certificate, such as study load hours (SBU). The earned points can be easily found in the participant's portfolio.

How do you set up the point system?

From the homepage of your academy, click on the gear icon in the header to go to your academy's settings.

Next, click on 'more settings'. Here you will find the option to add a point system and assign a name to your point system. It is possible to set up more than one point system per academy. Once you have created the point system, you can link points to certificates.

Setting up the point system for certificates

Via management > certificates, you can create a new certificate or modify an existing certificate. When creating or modifying, you will see a field where you can add points. Make sure you have added a point system to your academy beforehand by following the previous steps. In your certificate, you only need to select your point system and enter the number of points.

Note: It is not possible to retroactively assign points to certificates that have already been issued. Points can only be added to certificates that are sent after this change.

Where can I find the earned points?

The earned points can be found in the portfolio of your participants and in the reports section in the management.

1. Portfolio

Certificates automatically appear in a participant's portfolio. In the portfolio, you will also find an overview of earned points.

You can find a user's portfolio as follows:
Go to the users page via management.
Click on the name of a user.
Then click on the portfolio button.

A participant can also add certificates they have earned (for example, from external training) to their portfolio and specify how many points they have earned with them.

2. Reports

Do you want to see at a glance how many points multiple participants have earned? Then you can go to the reports page via management. You will immediately see a page with an overview of earned portfolio items and the corresponding points. Use the search filters to filter by achievement dates and validity dates.
