The Pluvo app
The Pluvo App is the mobile application that belongs to the Pluvo learning platform. Pluvo is a learning management system that allows organisations to offer, manage, and track online training, learning journeys, and learning activities.
For you as an administrator, the app is also good news. You can easily keep track of progress, completion, and results of learning activities, manage users, and review assignments throughout the day without a laptop. This way, you maintain an overview even when you are on the go, and can quickly adjust where needed. This ensures your employees are always compliant!
Key benefits
The app offers several benefits:
- Lowering the barrier to learning: almost everyone carries a phone. Want to complete a course module while on the train, or waiting for the bus? That's now much easier!
- User management in your pocket: the app also provides flexibility for administrators. You can check assignments, view progress and results, or chat in the discussion forum – all within the app.
- Push notifications: with the app, participants and administrators can now also receive push notifications on their phone. For example, when a new item in a learning journey becomes available or when a chat is posted in the discussion forum.
- New features: the app offers several new features not (yet) available in the web version. Users can, for example, add offers to their favourites or use QR codes to quickly access a learning journey, course module, meeting, or article in the library. This encourages workplace learning: the QR code provides immediate access to the information employees need at that moment on the job.
How does the Pluvo app work?
The functions in the Pluvo app are (almost) identical to those in the web version. In this article, we mainly explain where to find the familiar functions in the app and how the interface works. In addition, we explain some functions that differ from the web version.
Downloading the app
Step 1: Download the app
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You can get there automatically by clicking this link and scanning the QR code with your phone camera. You will then have the option to download the app or create a Pluvo academy if you do not yet have one. After downloading the app, proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Enter your organisation domain
- Enter the domain of your organisation (for example: yourorganisation.pluvo.com).
- Tap Continue.

Step 3: Log in
- After entering the organisation domain, you will automatically reach the login screen.
- Log in with your Pluvo credentials.

Step 4: You are logged in
After logging in, you will arrive at the overview. Here you will find the learning activities you are enrolled in, where you are a trainer, or which you have added to your favourites.
Navigation structure explained
We will now guide you through the app's navigation structure, so you know where to find the key functionalities.
Once logged in, you will see a menu bar at the bottom with the sections overview, offers, library & portfolio.

- Overview: this is the page you land on after logging in. Here you will find the introduction text of your academy and the offers you are enrolled in, where you are a trainer, and those you have added to your favourites (more on this later).
- Learning: here you will find the offers as you know them from the web version. You can view the offers, see registration lists, and manage participant registration (such as enrolling, unenrolling, or sending a personal email). You cannot create new offers in the Pluvo app; this can only be done in the web version.
- Knowledge base: here you can view collections and articles in the library. To create new collections or articles, use the web version of Pluvo.
- Portfolio: here you will find your own portfolio with certificates, skills, and more. You can view another user's portfolio via the user list (more on this later).
At the top right of the overview, you will find the notification centre and your profile.

- Notification centre: here you will find all notifications from your academy. For example, when a participant posts something in the discussion forum or submits an assignment that can be reviewed.
- Profile: in your profile, you can update details such as your username and email address, or change the interface language. You can also choose whether to receive push notifications on your phone.
At the top left, you will find the menu with the following buttons:

- Enrollments: here you can see which participants have enrolled in a learning journey, course module, or meeting via the offers. There is a 'to review' tab where you can easily accept or reject participants.
- Users: here you will find all users in your academy. At the bottom right, there is a button with a plus sign to add new users. Click on a user's name to view their portfolio. In the portfolio, a button with three dots provides additional actions, such as sending a personal email or editing user details like name and email. Clicking on a participant's profile photo allows you to send a personal message directly.
- Groups: here you will find all user groups in your academy. Opening a group allows you to modify it. For example, add participants or group managers, or remove participants by clicking the profile photo – a button with an icon of a person with a cross will appear.
- Trainings: here you will find all learning journeys created in your academy. The difference with the homepage is that you only see learning journeys you are enrolled in or are a trainer for.
- Show introduction: clicking this button shows the contents of your introduction panel (if in use). This is the screen participants see when they first log in.
The menu also has options to log out, log in to another academy, or reset your app (clear all local data and log in again).
New features in the Pluvo app
The Pluvo app has two features that distinguish it from the web version: sharing QR codes and adding offers to favourites.
Share link or QR code
When in a learning journey, course module, meeting, or an article in the library, you will find an icon at the top right to share that specific offer:

You can choose to use a link or a QR code. The QR code is ideal for promoting workplace learning. Imagine creating a short course module about the coffee machine in the canteen. You then print the QR code and stick it on the coffee machine. An employee with access to Pluvo only needs to scan the QR code to open the module. This way, you learn exactly what you need, right when you need it, directly at work.

Add offers to favourites
Also new is the ability to add a course module, learning journey, or meeting to favourites. By opening one of these items, you will find a heart icon next to the offer's title. Clicking this adds the item to your favourites.

You can easily find these again by going to the app's overview page. Clicking the heart button there will show all items you have 'liked':
