# Course module templates

When creating a new course module, you can choose between an empty module or a template. Templates are pre-filled course modules on specific topics such as onboarding, information security, or HACCP. You can fully customize the templates to suit your needs, allowing you to share your knowledge efficiently.

### How do I choose a template?

When creating a course module, you can select one of our templates. For example, click on the **+ New** button from the homepage and choose **course** ** module**. You will immediately see our templates:

Currently, we offer both Dutch and English templates. Click the button to the right of the search bar to find the English templates.

### Can I add my own templates?

Yes, you can! Send us a message via chat if you would like to add your own course module to the templates. To add your template, we’ll need the following details:

* The name of the course module in your academy so we can locate it.
* The unique ID of your course module. You can find this in the URL when your course module is open. For example: https://organisatienaam.pluvo.com/c/edit/ **64319**
* The (short) title you want to display in the template overview.
* A subtitle, if desired.
* An image to be shown in the template overview.
