# AFAS: Configure User Group

It is important that you have a user group with the appropriate permissions. If you don't have one yet, you can configure it as follows:

Navigate to the **General** menu in the **Administration** section and select the **Authorization tool** option.

Next, create a new group or modify an existing one. Ensure that the group you intend to use has a checkmark next to **Participant per event**. This option is located on the right-hand side, under the **Menu** tab.
